Building own forum with phpbb3

if we look now, many new forums popping on the internet. we imagine for a moment how to make the forum quickly and contains many menus, it seems very difficult. but it was not as difficult as imagined. we can create a forum for the community or our own institutions to easily and quickly, may not reach the half-hour. many CMS forum is offered to us of them is phpbb.

phpBB is an Internet forum package written in PHP programming language. The name "phpBB" is an abbreviation of PHP Bulletin Board and is available in the GNU General Public License that is distributed as freeware.
Without much talking, we are right to the point of this article will discussed.here,i will give an example phpbb3 installation in localhost. the reason is, much easier and require loading time is relatively small compared. online installation devices required :

1. Here we are a web server using xampp, the software can u download here

if you've installed the xampp next is the installation process.

installation steps:

• Put phpbb3 installer in the directory c:\xampp\htdoc (if using windows operating system). if you use linux put in /opt/lampp/htdoc

• Create database with mysql accordance with the phpbb folder name. type http://localhost/phpmyadmin in your web browser. for example type like this :

• Access your directory via a web browser such example http://localhost/phpbb
• Then, follow the installation instruction until at database configuration. enter like image below :

• follow the instruction until the installation finish.
